Casual dating is becoming increasingly popular, as a healthy alternative or break from traditional dating. I know this might cause some controversy on this forum, but I think it's a subject that we need to speak about because it is happening.
Here's some quick and dirty tips (note this advice is intended for over 18's only): 1. Know what you are looking for - casual dating isn't about luck, synchronicity, or being at the right place at the right time. It's about knowing what you want in a casual dating partner - looks, sexual orientation, age, race, etc - and finding a way to go out and get it (legally and ethically of course) 2. Casual dating works best online - from my experience, it's much easier and successful to find a casual dating partner online as opposed to going out and looking for it at a bar or club. This is because there are dedicated matchmaking sites that exist specifically for that purpose, and that people are on those sites for a reason. 3. Be truthful and honest on your online profile Many people have false pictures and false stats about themselves. This only leads to disappointment if you actually meet someone in person. Honesty about yourself, your looks and your wants works out more effectively in the long term. 4. Be persistent. Don't expect to be successful immediately. Be persistent, have patience and be active. Don't visit a site hoping to hook up tonight, it ain't going to happen (unless you're extremely lucky). Just like anything worth having in life, casual dating success takes time and dedication.
