help!good idea or bad?

I went to my cousins wedding this weekend and a girl there introduced me to one of her single friends. We talked for about 5 or 10 minutes and then she went to the bathroom and I didnt see her again. I know that she was a cousin of the female that my cousin married if that makes sense. I know her name and was thinking about sending her a message on facebook just saying that she seemed like an interesting girl and asking if she would like to go out sometime. Would that be a good idea or is that a bit creepy. Would there be any way to go about it? or should I just let it go?

I believe you should get in touch with this woman, BUT Facebook? NO. No, also to text messages and Email. Pick up the old fashioned telephone (the one connected to the wall) and talk to her directly. You will learn much more by listening to her voice than you ever will reading between the lines of a written message. Posting a message and asking for a date on a public forum (even if set to pvt.) is just plain tacky and shows no class.

If she turns down your offer of a date then DirtDrive is probably correct; yet you won't know one way or the other if you do not try.

Forget facebook but do follow up. If you ignore all encounters in life, you will end at 40 here asking how to get a date.
