> What happen to my topic?
My guess is that the administrator removed it; the consensus of opinion among the people responding is that we as a community cannot help you, Franklin, try as we did. Sadly, yet apparently true, this discussion like the one before was becoming unproductive and going nowhere. Last edited by dancingdoc2; 04-27-2010 at 08:51 AM.. |

I spoke with people about it today. Her story does not add up. However, my friends also have leaky stories. It's over and I'll just move on. |

What's the problem with Franklin asking questions? I mean if people don't wish to read them... then they don't have to read them. There is no need for drastic actions such as locking or deleting the threads.
Actually, deleting threads is particularly pernicious, as people who have taken time to give advice have their efforts wasted, because the thread is deleted on somebody's whim, as seemed to happen with the last thread. I certainly didn't see anything there to justify a deletion: there were no threats, no vulgarities, etc. so I wish to express my disapproval at the deletion of the thread, which I consider a far more drastic action than merely locking it would have been. |

In response to Humble's reasoning and logic
Humble, I did post my opinion and while I do agree with you about the efforts wasted, it also becomes a waste of time when
a. he's not even asking questions, he's stating about what women think about him b. it's redundant c. when he's clearly looking for an audience It's getting to a point where he should probably contact someone personally for advice, instead of risking another pointless thread. Second thing, I can't buy the "I'm ugly and no woman wants me" logic. There are many women that marry "ugly men" There are many women that marry abusive men and those are ugly men in my book. There are many women who marry men that don't do jacksquat for their wives because to be a man means to have entitlements to act like they own everything. To me, that's ugly. But a lot of woman marry men that would be considered to be physically repulsive to some people of society. So, I'm sorry, that's not a fact. Now, I've already tried my luck before being informed that this would lead to nowhere. Believe me, unless someone sees a logic, which I do by the way BUT can make it into an actual discussion rather than a pity party, then the thread really doesn't do a thing. Other people have tried to, so what's left? The question that should be asked at this point is "Do I want to be happy?"

This was a site that helped when I used to feel this way about myself. It works. It helps you along the way, plus this guy can dispel a lot of better advice than what we've tried...
