I for one think that BOYFRIENDS, HUSBANDS, FIANCEES, and MEN in general are precisely for ENJOYMENT- otherwise why would she go through all the bother of HAVING him if he WASN'T enjoyable?!?! Waste of time and effort.

So why on earth would any woman say "Please don't say enjoy. I've got a bf."

This makes aboslutely NO sense to me.

If you're not enjoying him, however you choose to enjoy him, then get yourself one who you CAN enjoy. Life is just too short to be with men you do not like, love, and,yes, ENJOY!

This applies to men as well. My best friend was not happy with his ex, and regrets making himself enjoy her.

Sorry, Franklin - you're not making any sense either or rather your friend isn't. If it is past, there's nothng to be done- move on - even regrets are a waste of time.

If you are not enjoying your life - find the reason and fix it.

I posted this because I could not understand why anyone would say this.

Not to point names, but just to understand her. She seems to think that every recommendation is an attack on her sexually, and that it threatens her relationship, indicating either an abusive/controlling boyfriend or an altered view of sex and sexual context.
