This is assuming that women are not or cannot be nerds which is incorrect.
But the true hallmark of being a nerd is 'social ineptness' allied with a kind of child-like (but not childish) physical gawkiness and insecurity which keeps them tied to a computer - because it is 'easier'. I recommend two things to those Male Nerds who do not wish to be a nerd, based upon the definition above: 1. get a job doing manual physical labor - construction for example 2. get transport that says 'bad boy' - a Harley-Davidson motorcycle for example During high school all a guy has to do is dirve up, park, lounge about his motorcycle and wait for a girl to wander up and ask for a ride. (True story.) Older guys, college and beyond, will find suits are very attractive to women as are things like Mercedes Benz SLKs and owning your own home. Run a mile every morning. You still need physical exercise. If nothing else - learn to swing a broadsword, shoot, and/or something hand-to-hand like boxing. For Female Nerds: Work on the beauty thing because even the best of men are visually inspired creatures. You do not have to "super model" however so no stressing over this. No more shapeless "sharecropper's daughter" clothing. I know you hate them but wear the damn high heels and show some leg. Do not be "in need of rescue" - that is - stop being pathetic. Get a decent job, house, car (see above) and dare the guys to do their worst. But dumbing yourself down. You can be friendly without being stupid. Above all nerds of the world - have confidence! After all Bill Gates won! |

Sorry I did not mention girls. When I went to High School, I did not know any girls who were nerds. I do agree with you about their beauty. I've seen plenty of girls who look like they could be attractive if they would just wear better clothes and are better groomed(hair and makeup).
