Help!!!

I've been in love with my friend for several years now. We will be seniors in fall, so this is my last chance. She's on vacation till school starts, so I need to plan. We chat on FB to keep in touch. I know she trusts me since she has shared certain info with me.

I know this isn't a crush; I've had those and this isn't one. I would go to great lengths to just hold her, and I'm happy when she's around. I have no serious relationship experience, but I need to make this right.

Ps if it helps, I owe her a dinner. Long story.

Well the main problem is she thinks of me as just a friend. After being crushed in her last relationship, she said she was very cautious of being in a relationship. (it ended really badly)

I think you should tell her how you feel, its better than always wondering what could have happened if you had told her.

Only problem is I'm the shy type. I almost told her last year, but bailed at the last moment. Also, how should I act on the date? Should I hint at it during the dinner or wait till the walk home?

Maybe you could tell her that you have feelings for her & would like to be more than friends, instead of telling her you love her. I wouldn't hint around (most people don't get hints lol) just be straight forward with her.

I don't think it would matter either way, but it may be easier to bring it up during the walk home instead of in a crowded restaurant.

Lets just hope I can last the rest of the summer
