What do you consider "public places"? A public restroom? (Adjacent to) A hiking trail? A bench in the park? A seat in the mall? Alongside a country road? Beach? "Inspiration Point?" Upper left side in a movie theater? Other?

"Fresh" to me means two things:
T#1: Doing unexpected things to romance her, often hours before planning an intimate encounter. (Plan ahead.)
T#2: Adding variety to your encounter. (Do not make love the same way, at the same time, using the same position, the same "stage", the same etc.

Certainly if you want to make out a little in public and it is unexpected, go for it. As for making love in a restroom up against the sink, on the floor (ick), or inside a stall, then maybe once, but certainly not often.
