My husband is a marine and i admire him so much for what he does. of course i HATE the deployments (afghanistan in november )
but what he does is brave and i am proud to have him as my husband.
my brother was in the army a few years back as well and once he came back from afghanistan and told me that they were driving a tank and a young child ran out in front of it and he was ordered to keep going. they killed the child but the reasoning was because they believed the child could have been sent out in front of them to stop the convoy so they could be attacked. (happened alot then) and it still bothers him of course. so maybe thats one of the things the girl was talking about, circumstances like that. but what were they suppose to do? idk, that subject still confuses me, i wish they could have stopped to save the child but i understand the risk it would have been.
