Has it occurred to you that perhaps something came up for Wednesday and he needed to rearrange his week? Very very conceivable. Don't take it so much to heart-be confident in your desirability. Just because people's plans change doesn't automatically mean their opinions of you changed their plans.

The note said that he didn't see a point in going for a drink with me because he didn't see a future for us. He cancelled going to the convention for no other reason than me. He was suppose to ride over to the convention hall with 3 or 4 others from his office. He was suppose to be at the convention Wednesday and Thursday. there was a special presentation on Thursday he was suppose to attend. He worked, a later shift on Monday and his usual shifts the rest of the week.
A call to a co-worker confirmed that he had called in several times every day last week. "So and so was suppose to attend, and he didn't" with the reply "that's what I thought but I (meaning my co-worker) spoke to him everyday." He wasn't sick, fired, or replaced by a different co-worker. In fact Wednesday night his boss was a little upset because they had paid for him to attend this conference, and for him to stay at the hotel connected to the convention center, and didn't attend. There wasn't time to have a different person take his place.
It wasn't a sorry I couldn't, it was there wasn't a connection so..... He didn't speak two words to me? And no he hasn't called or emailed me. And I haven't called or emailed him.
