So, I am not really asking a question. Probably just talking for the sake of talking, but if you have any thoughts or advice, let me know.

Here is a little history for those that don’t know me. I have been in college for the last two years. In one of my classes a year ago, I meet this absolutely brilliant girl. I started flirting with her until I found out she was 14. Now we have become pretty close friends. This is the same girl as from my post “going to class for a girl”.

Today I was going out to lunch with some friends that I met in high school. So they picked me up from school when I was hanging out with this girl. When they arrived I introduced them to her and we all started to talk. After about twenty minutes we had to leave. In the car one of my friends asked me how long we had been dating. Both of my friends were both under the impression that she was my girlfriend. I would just disregard this if it was not the 3rd time it has happened.


Am I really acting like I am romantically involved with this girl? What dose this mean? Dose she want to be involved with me as more then just friends? So I guess I have questions.

wherever you live, how many years for statutory rape, carnal knowledge, sex with a minor or whatever you call it there? The subconscious signals you are emanating can get you in just as much trouble as acting on your urges.

Statutory rape only applies if one of the people is over the age of consent. If both parties are under age then there is no crime committed. In addition, I don’t want to sleep with her. As the title suggest, I think she is too young. We just get along really well. I have only been hanging out with her for a few months and we are already very close. The thing is if she was just a couple years older she would make a perfect girl friend. The other thing that I am concerned about is there is this girl that I want to date in a class I share with my friend (she is 19). There are only 12 people in the class, so if anything happens she will find out, if I don’t tell her. I am worried about hurting her, but I also want to get laid.

Ok let me get this straight. She graduated from high school at 13, is now 14 and next year is going to transfer to get into a pre med program. From this last post it sounds like you are young yourself. Let's take the state of Michigan where I live.
First-degree criminal sexual conduct is sexual penetration with someone under age 13. Up to life in prison.
Third-degree criminal sexual conduct is sexual penetration with someone between age 13 and 16. Up to 15 years in prison.
So if you are 17 and have sex with this girl you face 15 years, plus the sexual offender registry when you get out. And if you are 16 and this 19 year old lays you they face the same.
I want to know one: how old are you? two: what makes these friends of yours think she is your girlfriend? three: does she sit on your lap with her arm around you while you are all chatting? four: do you hold her hand? five: do you give her a kiss, hello/goodbye on the lips or cheek? six: you got her phone number, do you call her? seven: does she have yours and does she call you? And the big one, eight: do her parents know you? Remember I hid an older boy for 4 years. Luckily, I guess you could say, he had a sister my age so that's how we pulled that off.

I am very well read when it comes to California’s statutory rape laws. Since we are both under 18 and less then three years apart, there is nothing illegal as long as we don’t leave the state. As for me dating a 19 year old, yes it is technically illegal, but past persistent shows that it is never prosecuted when the women is the older one unless there is a real significant age difference.

Now to address Goof’schik’s interrogation,
1) I am 16
2) I don’t know exactly why my friends think we are dating. I guess it has to do with the way we talk. She harasses me about not doing home work (I am the kind of guy that dose not take shit from most people).
3) No, she dose not sit on my lap. She is very introverted and is not very touchy.
4) We don’t hold hands.
5) Never have kissed her.
6) I do have her phone number and we talk on the phone about twice a week for at least an hour. I also have two classes in common so I see her five days a week and always sit next to her.
7) Yes, she calls me some times and I call her some times.
8) Her mother knows about me. Most parents like me luckily because I am well dressed, respectful and educated.

I am not a bad guy, but the name is supposed to be oxymoronic. But it is more of an inside joke because of my “radical” political believes towards religion.

In NY; if both are under the age of 18 & within similar ages as in a year or two, assuming neither are of age of majority, no one bothers unless there is a real discrepancy. Worse case is you are taken to your parents. If one is bordering the age of 18 and dates, no prosecution unless a DA is up for re-election. 18 you get sex offenders list even if the girlfriend is 17. Age of consent laws vary state to state.

California is 18. Note NY is 15/17. If you read the fine print in the laws there are at times clauses where if caught and a year or year and a half apart of the yonger AOC...they leave you alone.

Mr. Saint, they are starting to not give a crap who is breaking the law, male or female, as it should be. And if her daddy is anyone from a judge to a street cop someone is going to jail. Circuit court judge at one end of the street and well the top FBI next door, while I was growing up. They get their kids outta stuff but they also make sure that if you someone breaks the law by abusing their child someone will go to jail. And look at all the female teachers going to jail for messing with a teenage boy.
Breaking the law, because no one is going to do anything is dumb. And it's does not dose, maybe instead of looking to hook up you should go do your homework. PS I have my masters in finance.

Yes, the Cops, Attorney's, and Judge's children are exempt behind the scenes because of the influences of power & position. Their standard answer is not my kid. However, the kid unrelated who does the same? A double standard for him or her. Don't get me on the rant!!!

Since we have desisted to lecture me let me argue back. First, in order for the girl I would be sleeping with to go to jail my parents would have to file charges, which they never would because they are alright with me sleeping with older women and in my area you could never put together a jury to convict a 19 year old girl. Second, there is nothing I am doing that is illegal. Third, if you are talking about my friends, who I have no intention of sleeping with, father. He is a dead beat father that ran out on them years ago. As for my academics, I spend my time doing research, I have over a 4.0 GPA and have a reserved spot at UCB and it is very likely that I will get in to MIT. So don’t lecture me about homework. Also one of the reasons I like sex so much is because it releases a huge amount of stress and helps me work.

P.S. I read over my post and without the tone of voice in my head, I sound like a prick. It is not intentional and I apologies. I do respect all of your opinions.
