First Date ideas (excluding dinner and a movie)

I used a wedding as a first date. From what I've gathered, I didn't have a snowball's chance in hell until I asked her to go to the wedding and apparently I must have done something right.
I honestly don't think it matters what you do for the first date, but what you chose to do with the situation so that he/she has fun and feels completely comfortable.

My single best first date that has always worked wonders is a trip to the pistol range.

Right off the bat you know if she is:

• Crazy
• Inflexible
• Irrational
• Timid
• Adventurous
• Intelligent

Have an early, comfortable sit down dinner, and then go to the range, followed by coffee or a drink at someplace conducive to talking about the experience.

I can't think of many other first dates that are so unique, so easily weed out undesirables, and allow the fun, adventurous ones to shine.

i'd love it if someone will take me out on a secluded beach under starry starry night....and we'll have a nice chat and look at the stars together..... it is because i hate crowded places....
