Weird situations involving sisters.

First off I would like to thank you guys for the attention I got regarding the kiss on the first date. The date went well, I did kiss her (no sloppy man tongue I'm actually a pretty good kisser I've been told) and we had a couple follow up dates. This is where it gets kind of weird.

Her older sister (from the aformentioned mansion party in my previous thread) has been texting me a lot recently, asking how things are going and what not. I said how I wasn't sure because the younger sister (the one Im seeing) hasn't been very... aggressive. However I did come to find out she's a virgin and has had only one bf before me. No big deal, i really don't mind taking it slow, I am patient and pretty compassionate when it comes to feelings. Not to mention I do generally pursue girls with the idea of forming some kind of a relationship, not just the physical aspect, anyway. I did mention to the older sister tho, who is my age(23), how she's(the younger sister) been very stand offish and seems more or less disinterested after these couple weeks. I said this as neutrally as I could because you know, she's got a huge workload with school and all and I'm not trying to rush it.

Long story shortened, we pretty much texted back and forth for about an hour, her asking what exactly it is I do at my night job (where I am now) and we wrapped up with her saying "I dunno you are great shes stupid if she doesnt want to pursue you." I of course perk my proverbial eyebrow at this, and sent her back, quite neutrally, "haha aww thnx my ex gf would probably disagree though" She didn't/hasn't responded.

that top response tho was me trying to play it off w/out saying something that could possibly make it look like Im some kind of pimp. The story of my most recent ex actually isn't anything that special or aggressive

This has put me in a very unusual, and new situation me thinks, where the older sister might actually be interested in me also...

Insight anyone? Am I just reading to much into an innocent text?

Maybe she was bored. In the world of "politeness" women know how to compliment a man well. Think nothing of it. If she was interested let her come around to you.

NO, she is not interested in you as a possible boyrfriend - she is TESTING you to see if you're some scumbag hitting on her little sister! If you pursue the older sister - you're a scumbag. If you don't, then you're okay.

YES, she's pursuing you not for YOU but to compete with her little sister in a kind of sibling rivalry thing which you DON'T need to be a part of because it isn't about you - you're just a pawn/tool being used to slam her little sister and who wants to play that game? Do NOT pursue the older sister since after she's "won" she'll drop you like a hot rock and you will have lost the little sister because she doesn't want you either after having that game pulled on her.

Say "thank you" to the older sister but stick with the younger sister!
