If you have the time it's worth a read so are some books by Dr. Laura Schlessinger;Ten Stupid Things Women do to Mess Up Their Lives.

Men & women have very different communication methods. This book attempts to exemplify such barriers & understanding why is key. This book examines why based upon human nature and instincts.

Another good book is Steven Covey's; "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People". It can get boring but demonstrates much about personal interaction, communication, and boundaries...It can be applied to a personal or professional setting. The book delves into circles of control v. circles of influence and what you can & cannot limit--plus best reactions.
