Asking a Girl/Guy Out

How would you ask a girl out whether you're a guy or girl? Guy out?

Since we know exctly what we'll be doing, I say "When are you available this week?" or he asks me the same question and we setup our schedules.

if i was to ask a girl out i would say something along the lines of, ' so do you like x film??' should she say yes, ' do you want to go see it with me some time?'

simple.

Better to ask her to a specific event at a specific place, date, and time up front that way you can see where you're at with her based upon:

if she says No, and does NOT propose an alternative - just being nice so move on

if she says No, but DOES suggest an alternative - she's into you! Be cool but there.

if she says YES, then she is REALLY into you! Go for it!

Bdtcha that is true. I agree, although, when I have answered similar questions, my recommendation in addition to what EEK has recommended is to offer alternatives.

* Offer movie A or movie B (or another activity if B is not available)
* Offer Friday night or Saturday night

Keep in mind that she may have plans for one or both days, or a particular block of time, therefore expect her to offer another time if she is interested.

As for times, you might suggest a matinee followed by dinner or anything else that seem appropriate.
