How to talk to her? Generally Talkin

Well this seems awkward for me to be asking for advice because I'm usually one giving it to my friends, but eh everyone has their own faults.

Anyway, there is this girl I like a lot and I believe she likes me as well, but I also know she likes this other guy so I've gotta get myself some points here. My biggest problem when it comes to it is just talking to her. A lot of times I just won't have anything to say or can't think of anything to talk about while I'm with her. Today we were swimmin with some other friends as well and we talked and hung out all day but there was a time when I was just sittin thinking and not sayin anything and she asked what was wrong, when nothing was, I just said I was tired. So I guess I need some advice when it comes to things to talk about, I could be nervous or something but I'm usually not shy or anything, I'm just at a loss of words when I'm talkin to her.

On key to your situation is to understand that many females of the species are generally chatty creatures. That said, there are a couple of things you can do.

1. Ask leading questions, listen to her answer(s), then ask questions about what she has said

2. Listen to what she talks about, then ask questions about what she has talked about--repeat

This won't help if you have nothing original to contribute, however, it is a way to get the communication started, and ending the silence.

Something else you can do is to keep a mental log of things she has talked about that you might want to follow up on. Similarly, if during the week you do something interesting, or, you have a thought about anything that might be worth talking about, bring these topics up on a date.

Life without dancing?
I don't think so......

The feet may learn the steps;
yet only the spirit can dance!

Dancing is the fastest way to get
a girl alone and into your arms in public.

The Tango smolders and burns. It ignites the
heart, the soul, and yes, the libido.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass,
it's about learning how to Dance in the Rain!

Dance as if nobody is watching.

Hehe thanks for the advice We've started talkin a lot more lately on the phone and stuff so I think it's gonna go great, once I get to know her a bit more I shouldn't have a problem, just hitting that stage where you have to find their bounderies, u know?
