How do I get a girlfriend?

I never had a girlfreind before and i would like one, all my brothers have girlfriends. But I'm paralyzed from the waist down so most girls at my school don't give me a second thought. What do I do?

Ask one out to whatever interests you. Then talk about it.

I have a good friend in your same situation--my heart goes out to you! I agree with Brandye...you have to have some friends that are girls, so I would talk to them about it. Get their imput, and explain to them that you feel looked over however you have all the same emotional wants and needs as any other teenage boy. Then, they will be aware of your feelings, and may even be able to play match maker for you ;-) Or who knows, maybe one of your 'friends' wouldn't mind being more than friends.

Get to know some of the ladies around school; learn to flirt. Then as you get to know them better, as Brandye said, ask one out. Let people see you for who you are as a person, show interest, show your personality.

I went to school with a guy who shortly after I graduated (he was a few years ahead of me) became a quad from falling out of a tree stand. I'd see him in the hospital and he always had a wonderful personality, he was the guy who brightened the room when he came in.

I used to talk to him a lot, had a thing for him, and he had a girlfriend.

yes it can be bad but you do have a little advantage girls won't see you as any possible threat and will feel comfortable around you so you should not have too much trouble making friends if you socialize a bit just remember you are as much a man as anybody abd it is the personality that makes it work between two people
