i met a guy at my cousin's wedding last friday (no we're not related lol) i was sitting between him and his slightly older brother - talked with his brother first until he became less shy.

after talking at dinner and afterwards and sharing several dances and talking some more i was feeling a vibe. (my mom later told me he had his 'eye on me' the entire night). his brother had said "i need your number before you go" to me during a dance to "Staying Alive" by the BeeGee's (classic right? lol).

anyway as the night wound down and i realized there wasn't another slow song with the cuter younger brother in my future - my mom and i decided to say our goodbyes... i wrote down my name, cell number and email on a piece of paper and slipped it to the younger brother as he asked "are you leaving?" and he said "i'll call you sometime."

i left thinking "that was fun ... and i won't talk to him again" and felt find with that .... i checked my email when i got home to see if i missed anything that night and low and behold - younger cuter brother emailed me less than 2 hours after recieving my address! (you can imagine my elation)

he asked me if i would like to go tubing / water skiing with his family sometime "maybe over the summer ... ?" (which would imply at their cottage 2 hours north of where we live) and that if i wrote him back he'd get it the next night

i wrote him back when i had finished reading it (kicking myself for jumping the gun) and haven't heard from him since .... 4 days later!

i'm giving it until this coming weekend and i'm movin' on - unless guys have some input?

First you should have waited to reply, never look desperate, you jumped too quick. Either way, never wait for a guy to call, you always stay in constant motion looking for potential guys. When you have 5 calling, you date 5. As time permits, you date the ones of greatest interest, prioritize. Keep it casual.

Nevermind the younger brother - what about the big guy?

Sorry but guys who are too shy to answer a woman's reply to his 'lets do something sometime' email - well - that's more work than I'd want to have to do. You'll have to make all the decisions, and all of the moves.

The older brother sounds a lot more fun for a lot less work.

lol wise point - except the entire night the older brother's interest was invested solely in alcohol and i dont drink ... although he was relatively nice!
