Kissing on the first date?

Ok i have a date with this woman i really like. I have never gone on a date before so i'm not sure what (if anything) i am supposed to do about a kiss on the first date (i'm male). While i'm on the subject i have never kissed a woman which is why i'm nervous. I'm conserned about comming on to strong. I'm not sure if its relevant but she is a tom boy. I'd appreciate any input. The cue? They sort of stand there and keep talking to you. If the date went well, meaning she did not climb out of the bathroom window to escape you, then a light kiss is appropriate. Do this & see how she responds. Stay close to her, and give it one more shot. Just no slipping her the old tongue right off the bat!

Nothing wrong with that! Another approach is to ask. I have had men stand close to me and ask if they could give me a kiss. That seemed too "rehearsed".
