my gf and i just broke up and afterwards i realized that i had become that obsessed crazy guy that thinks something is always going on. ive never been that guy before and i just recently realized why i did what i did. see...we were doing fine and then she decided to go back to college and get her degree. we were looking at 2 to 3 years away from each other. i said to myself that we could make it so i commited 200%. after a couple of months i started catching her in little lies like "i didnt hear the phone ring" or whatever. i drove me crazy!! my mistake was that i made her my everything and sometimes that can be a bad thing. its a fine line guys but you have to recognize when your there. i acted like an ass when we broke up even though i wanted us to be friends but since then i have apologized and we talk. i guess my point is to just be aware a your behavior and emotions at all times and accept the things you cannot change

Back up you both split b/c she was happy where she was geographically and there was no chance to change that or you to move with her. Remember we had this chat at 2:30 am?

Anyways, emotions fly high, no excuse for poor behavior but as long as you apologized, I am sure she understands it was hurt driven. Sometimes the anger shows us we have made the right decision.

It's not like only one person is hurt is the process, it's important to remember it's always two.

i havent been in too many relationships in my life so i guess i didnt know how to handle it. all in all i know its for the best and it will suck for a while but life goes on ya know
