Does waiting help?
Me and my girlfriend have been together for about a month n a half. We've been best friends for about 4 years. Before we got together she said all guys thought about was sex so when we got together we agreed to wait 3 months. I've talked about waiting 6 months that way when it does happen it's somthing to remember. Will waiting longer for the first time make it better for both of us?

Waiting until a time you both want is better. Setting time limits to me is insane. You both have to be happy with the decision and when it's right you will both know and be ready.

Of course guys want sex!! It is their primary job - gene mixing for better offspring. Else we would be budding off copies of ourselves. Not that they do not think about other things periodically but mostly, yes, they think about sex.

I guess setting time limits is a bit crazy I just don't want it to seem like we're doing it just to do it ya know? And when she said all guys think about is sex I ment we don't want long relationships, that we're just trying to sleep with as many girls as we can

The whole guys just think about sex thing........some other stuff too, lol. But yeah I find the whole time limit thing strange due to the fact it only makes sense that once it's up there will be a lot of preasure on the both of you. With the girl I'm with now. She found out i liked her or whatever. Saw her at the bar, talked. Her place was closer than mine so i went back there ands slept on the couch. Next time She invited me out for drinks, left the bar really drunk invited her back to my place and she slept in the same bed and I didn't try anything. I wanted her to know that I wasn't just trying to get a piece. Weeks followed of hanging out and going out and then it happened. Let it happen when it happens, that will make it good. Just don't be to drunk that things don't function....that happened to me once......it sucked, lol.
