YellowMellow is on a distinguished road
Belated Chemistry?

i'm just had a second date with a brilliant guy who is great and just what i'm looking for personality wise. On our second date however, we finally snogged and did all the holding affectionate stuff - only problem - i didn't feel any chemistry at all, although i'm sure he did. I really want to give this guy a chance rather than simply dismissing him at the first hurdle ...anyone experienced this before?

Can chemistry come later on in the relationship? any thoughts / advice / experiences would be fantastic.

I have found either it's there initially or it's not. I have never been able to have it develop later on, I believe the initial attraction must be present; if you are not certain give it a few dates.

True. Chemistry is a function of pheronomes and thus the attraction's there immediately or it isn't.
