ok i am 14 and my boyfriend is 18. we have been going out for almost a year!!we just starting having sex.. i know that he is only a few years older then me but should i be worried that he might get into trouble.. or not??

in my oppinion, any guy that age who will date a 13/14 year old girl, is only in it for one thing, and one thing only... and its usually the girl who gets hurt. who gets pregnant and doesn't know what to do, who gives it away, and then gets dumped when its not fun anymore.

yea thats what i thought at first..but we have been dating for a year on the 29th of this month and we just started to have sex.. and i took his virginity!! so i dont think it is that way..but now with my ex i kind of think it was that way and he was 21. but not about him

I'm not going to advise you to break it off because you've realized that you have a let's say history of dating older men who don't seem to take issue with having sex with a minor. Technically, what's going on is statuatory rape. What I would advise you to do is to take sex out of the scenario and evaluate if you really would rather be with your current partner or to date someone your own age.

If he asks why it is that you don't want to continue to have sex, be honest and tell him that you're not really comfortable with the current scenario because it could cause him a lot of legal problems and it could cause you to face some difficulties that you don't want to deal with as a young woman.

The bottom line is, no one can say it's right or wrong but I believe our legal system would argue that the current scenario is in violation of some rules.
