WTF! Why the fake #

Some women give out their real number, but when you call they blow you off imediately. Many women go with the "I have a boyfriend," right off the bat. Why the fake phone #? I met a girl at a bar and the coversation was natural I wasn't pushy and her body language indicated real interest. I gave her the easy out by asking if she wanted to meet sometime, and offered my number, but she voluntarily gave me her fake one instead. I'm completely baffled on this one, especially since she gave me a hug and kiss before she left. I know women can be sadistic, but come on, whats with rubbing salt in the wound?

That being said - if a woman gives you that kind of behavoir - drop her immediately and move on.

I think giving out a fake phone number is a bit poor. If she wasn't interested, she should have said so and not given a phone number at all.

Looks to me like she is playing silly games.

The problem is that you don't always know that a woman is playing games with you until later. If I met a woman under those circumstances, and she gave me hugs and kisses, and her phone number, then I wouldn't know she was toying with me until I rang the number later.
