going out for near 3 months

Up until a few months ago i had not really been that active at all, 18 months ago i hadnt even kissed a girl, im 17, ive had relationships before but well they were immature and went nowhere. So I went out one night, great night i meet a girl, i had kinda seen her round before but we were in with different crowds so never really talked, so we gt to talkin this night, we hit it off straight away, we danced then kissed, i asked her out soon after that.
the relationship started reasonably slowly but after a week or two it picked up to a new level which i had never experienced before and it is great, we are comfortable talking and kissing.

About a month ago i invited her round to my place while everyone else was out the house and was preparing myself for the possibility of sex in some form, in short she started her peiod the day before so we jus kissed a lot that day, i was relieved in a way because i realised that i wasnt quite mentally ready for it, but now i have worked it out in my head and am ready to move on from making out.

We are comfortable with each other and i REALLY like her, i know that she really likes me, we are both smart, mature and know what we want, most of her friends have had sex before and they all talk about it quite openly, we are both virgins and i have condoms ready but i just dont know how to initiate because.... well ive never done it before!!!

I have talked to my friend about it who is a girl, she suggested that i jus get her round again and see what happens but i dont know if i should maybe just talk to her about it and see how she reacts, basically im confused!!!

Any wise words of help would be much appreciated,

I'm by no means an expert on the matter but I was in about the same situation as you are back when I was younger. The only difference was that I knew that she had been into some sexual activity and I was still a virgin.

Anyway, I would suggest during the course of your kissing (as long as your alone) that you just place your hand on her stomach and move around to the small of her back and end up on her butt and see what you can do from there. Also just kinda slowly moving in with your hand on her leg seems to work too.

I don't know if this will help at all, but I hope it does.
