Hi all in a bind
I went on a date on Sunday and I really like the guy. We both agreed that we have to do it again (go out on date). I want to see him before I leave town for a week on friday but I have know idea if I should call him or let the wek go by and see if he call me first. What should I do? He also know that I will be gone for a week and then back in town the weekend.

I do not believe there is one correct answer or approach. I tend to favor the wait and see strategy up to the next to the last day you will be in town and if he doesn't call by then, pick up the phone and give him a very quick call saying that you enjoyed your date, look forward to more when you return on .... and look forward to him calling after such and such a date.

This lets him know that you are indeed interested in him and more of what he has to offer, yet gives him time to respond. If he doesn't it means either this was a one date social activity, or, that he doesn't know what to do so does nothing. Give the lad the benefit of the doubt.

Ok so I caved and called him, he stated that he was busy with other things and that was it there was no later call you later he stated that he was working on something with a buddy. I told him that I would see him when I got if he was working. He never responded. So do I just give up and see what happens or call him when i get back to town in a week? Its hard to read him and figure out what he wants if anything at all.

Just leave well enough alone.
If the lad wants you, he will very definitely make his presence known. So, if he doesn't call, doesn't visit, doesn't whatever, just move on to someone who has your interest uppermost on his "to do" list.
