Theres this girl in a grade higher than I am. I played with her in Band in 8th grade and now we're not in the same school because the transition between senior high and the thing between middle school and senior high. I have her phone number and we like each other a lot but what approaches should I make?

If you both like each other a lot, than the first step has already been taken. You have her phone number, call her. You’re in school during the week, so ask her if she would like to hang out on the week end. If there is a mall near you try that. You could get something to eat, you could sit and talk, and you can really find out what type of stores she likes. Girls love gifts! Remember it doesn't have to be a date; it could just be hanging out at the mall. If she really likes you the way you said she does than maybe she might want it to be a date.
