How to get to know someone better? Need advice

hi all im new to this forum, im 16 and relatively shy until you get to know me and i was wonderin if sumone can help me on how to start a conversation w/ a girl that ive never met before. i see her on the bus most days of the week and i really want to get to know her better but i just cant work up the courage to talk to her. is there a way to help raise my self confidence?

also whenever i see her she's always w/ her friends. so that makes it even more harder to talk to her, and when her friends finally get off the bus, my stop is only 2 or 3 more stops down the way...

Hmmm thats a bit of a pickle. Friends can really be a dilema. Do you have any classes together? If you don't mind going pretty far out of your way to get to know her see if shes in any clubs and join.

As for raising self confidence, imo it just takes time and practice, one thing that helped me was remebering if I never go for it, I'll never get anywhere.

Ooo, well you really don't have many options. The only thing I can think of is to take it head on. After her friends have left go up sit next her, say hello chat it up if ya want then ask her out. Don't get discouraged it'll probaly take multiple trys to work up the courage. After you do it feels great!
