Need some serious advise here!!
Hi, I am looking for some serious advise here, I've been out of the dating scene for a while now and I want to get back in. I am a business owner and have hired a 19 year old summer student and she's driving me nuts (you guys should understand). I'm 33, I have known her a long time and we get along great, does anyone have any advise on how I can get a harmless summer fling going, she's single and into that kind of thing but I know she'll never make the first move. I just don't want to look like a jerk if she isn't interested. HELP!!!

Ditto. LOL You could easily become a former business owner... and be working for her.
I'd also point out that you are contradicting yourself. You "know" she's into that she's into that sort of thing... but don't want to look like a jerk if she's not interested? If you want to get back into the dating scene, go for it. Trying to seduce a 19 year old employee is not dating. In legal terms it's called sexual harassment. In practical terms it's called thinking with your dick.

Yeah I'm 19 and would have to say I'd be pretty creeped out if my boss (hot or not) started hitting on me. You have to think with your brain not with your dick. How do you know she's "into that sort of thing"? Did she tell you? Did you overhear her talking? Does she just flirt? If she straight up told you, "I'm into having an affair with my 33yr old boss" then go for it. If you overheard her talking... she's probably all talk. If she flirts it could just be her personality. I have the personality of a flirter even though I may not be interested in them. I'd seriously re-think this... I honestly find it disgusting.

Gee, Browser, I resemble that remark. LMAO Seriously, I'm in a relationship with a significant age gap (bigger than this one).... of course neither of us are kids. LOL
I'm not quite as concerned about the age gap as the boss/employee relationship... if he'd met her in any other venue no problem, as long as he's not taking advantage of her age. Some 19 year olds are mature, some are not. Same could be said of any age. Sticking with the age gap here... how about a 43 year old and a 29 year old? Or a 53 year old and a 39 year old?

True, the ratio between the ages does decrease over time, but I was saying that to make a point, as using an employee to get off should simply not happen.
I've also been in some very rewarding relationships with women older than myself. Edit: improved syntax.
