First Time Worries

My boyfriend and I have been together for a long while now and we are both really ready for sex. However, i am alittle worried about using a condom. I know they are the best form of contraception its just that i dont really have alot of trust in them. My boyfriend and i have spoken about this on many occassions but i just need some reasurance.

We do use lubricants when we do oral sex and i was just wondering if K-Y Jelly is a good lubricant.

You will find if you read around here that Brandye mentions that in conjunction with using a condom, use a contraceptive foam or gel...using both will help put your mind at ease about consequences that come with having sex.....use all you can and don't be lazy about it......it will save all those "what do I do now" posts we get from people that just didn't take the time or make the effort to protect themselves..

They do break sometimes, less if you use lubricant. I don't see ho0w you would be afraid of condoms, unless you were afraid of sex, and condoms didn't help get rid of that fear.
I say, use a condom and lubricant and if you can, use some type of spermicide vaginal foam

Thanks guys that was a good help...i think i have the trust in condoms now. i just need to stay calm and use lubricant to make it less likely to break.
