I think you have to ask her for an explanation. From the sound of what she said she could mean it that way or that you really should have done something--anything, else.

I've said stuff like that and that usually means that she thinks you have better things to do than talk to her. If that's not the case then you should probably reassure her. Daniel reassures me all the time but I still say stuff like that because I guess I think he's got better things to do than talk to me or hang out with me.

Yep... if she has a low opinion of herself, she might be fishing for compliments and reassurance.
Nice at first, but it may get old because you'll start to realize that it may not be she thinks you are so great; it may be that she thinks she's that bad. Keep talking. Make sure she understands that you want to spend time with her and if she keeps saying things like that it will begin to sound like she doesn't believe you.
