Dont know what to do?

Well i have been going out with this girl for like 1 year and like 3 months and have loved her for like the hole time. Then like 3 weeks ago we went on a break because she wanted to be single for a while and maybe just kiss some other guys, and i could do the same, I was alright with it of coarse I dont think that really mtters too much. Something of that nature. Well now i met this girl and shes a musician and i am too (were both in bands), and I like her alot. Im pretty sure she likes me too because her and my friend is trying to get us together and were sopposed to hang out this weekend. I want to go and stuff its just i dont know what to say to the girl i have been going out with for a really long time. She already knows that i like her. I told her that i liked her a little bit but its nothing serious. I dont want to lie to her or anyhting either. And she wants to get back together soon so I dont know what to do. Any advice, would be very helpful thanxs in advance.

Dating = going out with lots of people
Exclusivity = dating one person

I recommend that you date lots of people and save the aspect of exclusivity until you have gone out with enough people over the years in order to narrow the playing field to just one. You are going about it backwards if you just date and latch on to one person without first sampling more of what humanity has to offer. This also severely limits your possibilities.

just meet up with this girl at the weekend and take it from there. if this situation has caused you a problem finding the answer then it wasnt meant to be. just tell the girl you were with the truth, and if she throws her lid remind her whos idea it was in the first place. have fun
