I need help...this is kind of scary

Ok, I'm having some serious nerve problems in that when I go out to eat with someone or simply eat around them I feel like I'm going to throw up only a couple of bites in. This first came about around 2 years ago and only happened when I was around my date or the girl I was seeing. However, now, it has tripped over into all times of the day. I never feel hungry and everytime I try and force myself to eat something I feel like I'm going to throw up. I should have also stated that I am in a very complicated and very often confusing "relationship" with a girl I like very much. I don't know what to do...I've dropped from 156 lbs. to 147 lbs. which is almost 10 pounds over the course of 2 and a half weeks I am starting to get a little scared in that it hasn't gone away yet, I know this is all in my head, but I would like to continue trying to have a relationship with this girl...if there is any advice anyone can give me I would be eternally grateful.

Um, relationship or not, that doesn't sound healthy.

See your doctor. Rapid weight loss can signal a wide variety of problems.

...then make an appointment to see a theapist, either a psychiatrist or a psychologist.

The relationship with his girl does not seem to be a healthy one for whatever the reason. Until you get a handle on whatever is at the cause of your trouble, I would minimize contact with her.

This might be all in your head and caused by some insecurities on your part, or, it might be somehting in reaction to her that is setting you off, or....who knows, and this is why you need to be checked out physically and mentally.
