Okay.
So this guy had liked me for a really long time, and about 2 weeks ago he asked me out and I say yes. We went out for a week and everything was going amazing. I had been friends with him before and we had always flirted a lot. But then after a week, he broke up with me. The night before he had told me he loved me. I know that seems a short time to tell somebody that, but I really believed he meant it. At first I didnt know why he broke up with me, but then the next day he told me he wasnt ready for a relationship. Because he & his ex girlfriend had went out for almost 2 years. But she had broken up with him in sept. But even though they broke up they were still really close. It was a strange relationship. They just stopped having sex about 2 months ago.I told him that I understood & I would wait for him until he was ready if he wanted me to. He asked me if I wanted to and I said yes. Then I asked him the same thing and he said yes. So then its the weekend and we're talking on the phone all the time again. He texts calling me beautiful and things like that. ANd it was kinda a little joke, but when we were going out he would call me his boo...and he still calls me his boo. So yesterday Iwent to his house and met his mom for the first time and al that stuff. His sister was calling me his girlfriend and he wasnt saying anything to her like 'o were not going out'. Then to make things more confusing we did stuff yesterday. I am a virgin and hadnt went past making out with somebody, although he has. But yesterday I went further than I had went with anybody (although I was nervous). Now I'm just really confused. Because the way we were yesterday was just so great. Then I realized it wasnt a good idea because I know I am getting emotionally attatched to him and I told him that I dont think we should do anything anymore, unless we are going out because it is sending me the wrong signals. And he said okay and all that stuff.
But I'm just really confused. Like his exgirlfriend still drives him to school and stuff, and that just makes me jealous. I'm friends with her, but I made sure it was okay with her before we started going out.
Now I'm just the most confused I have ever been.
He told me we would wait and all, but now I'm just not sure if he wants to still. I know he still likes me, but I'm just reallllly confused and was wondering if anyone had any advice or was in a similar situation.
Thanks

It is precisely for these reasons that kids your age should not date exclusively. Yes, you can date, however, you should date lots of guys and not just one.

As soon as you enter into a one on one relationship at your stage of life you get all these problems and the emotions run wild and when there are breakups as there usually are then there is the trauma to deal with. If you do not date exclusively then you bypass all this drama and headaches.

The other plus to this is that by dating lots of boys you get to know what humanity has to offer and will make better choices when the time comes to narrow the field. If these two are not sufficient reasons, then consider that the more guys you date the more opportunities you have for dates. You can have fun, you can be with people, you can share events with a guy but you leave the romance and associated problems out and if you do this for the next few years your life will be a lot happier and less stressful.

It is silly to wait for someone. Get on with your life. If he wants you back, he'll come knocking. In the meantime you can be dating and having fun and not sitting home waiting.

Life without dancing?
I don't think so......

The feet may learn the steps;
yet only the spirit can dance!

Dancing is the fastest way to get
a girl alone and into your arms in public.

The Tango smolders and burns. It ignites the
heart, the soul, and yes, the libido.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass,
it's about learning how to Dance in the Rain!

Dance as if nobody is watching.
