Hi all,

Just wanted to know what you would all do.

Last week I went to this party and all night I talked to this guy. We seemed to make a connection. Now I cant stop thinking about this guy and want to know what you would do. I think he might feel the same but dont want to act on it just incase i am wrong. How do I approach the subject next time I see him?

Excellent starting point, Nursefluffykins.

This doesn't have to be a big deal. *The next time you see the guy (or heck, call him up) and say, "I had fun talking to you at {that party}." *Talk to him for a little while, see if you still feel the chemistry. *If you do, then suggest you have {coffee, a Coke, lunch- basically something casual} and see what he says. *

If you don't take the chance, then you'll never know.

**Oops, came back to add... If you take the chance of letting him know you enjoyed yourself, HE might ask YOU out. Not that you have to wait on that.

Us guys are also nervous about asking women out, especially the ones we are attracted too. It's the simple fact that social norms provide us with a bit more of an incentive to make the first move. Like the person before me said, somehow mention the fact that you're interested as well. However, I would strongly suggest against asking him on a date, it might make him feel sort of emasculated. Just give him hints that are sort of clear (communication breakdowns are the number one causes of social problems).
