Stretch marks- the kiss of death?

I wonder what the opinions are from the male world on stretch marks. Just see them as another type of scar or they're a turn off? Humor me

No, that's not a typo. They are just... a reality, a part of the person no different than a freckle or a mole or a birthmark...

There are going to be almost as many answers to this question as there are people to answer it. Some will consider them a turn-off, while others (Wally and myself included) aren't going to see anything but the person they love. Bottom line: If they love you, they won't care. Some will even find it a turn-on.

As a side, women don't hold a monopoly on stretch marks, I have them myself from where I grew too quickly when a teenager. My wife doesn't seem to mind.

Well, my opinion on stretch marks (of the female variety) probably doesn't mean much since it's not something I'm likely to encounter. But you could as easily ask this question about any physical characteristic. How about... how do women feel about bald or balding men? It's just a thing... some people like it, some won't and some just don't care one way or another.

I am a woman and I too have stretchmarks from a wonderful teenage growth spurt (8 inches and 50 pounds in a year...). My ex never seemed to mind or even notice. It does still get me nervous sometimes but I've learned to not worry about it- if the person you're with truly cares about you, then they wont care about your stretchmarks.

Not as in being a girl or not...you're the only one who can confirm or deny that, but as in sure the 50Ibs didn't put him off.

No insult to the man, 50Ibs, he must have had nice, flexible standards about his girlfriend's acceptable weight. Must have been something else happening for him to become an 'ex'.

Eight inches in a year...almost unheard of, according to the BMA. But the 50Ibs extra cargo, that happens a LOT.

She had a TEENAGE growth spurt. *

She got 8 inches TALLER and got 50 pounds with that. *Meaning she probably started to get her hips and tits. *Although this is a large amount in a year, it does not make her huge and would not be a reason for her ex to be turned off. *Because it probably happened before she even met him, when she was a teenager.

He must have had nice, flexible standards of an ACCEPTABLE weight for his girlfriend??? *Acceptable?? *did you say acceptable? *I thought it looked like that.. *But I was hoping i was wrong.

Anyway, look again at the BMA - 8 inches and 50 pounds, it's actually QUITE normal.
