I could really use some advice

so, last year i was hooking up with this girl for a couple weeks, and i ended it rather abruptly because she was too attaching, and i just wanted to play out the field more.....so its been about a year since then, and we're still friends....and i went dancing with her at a club last week....and i really am starting to become infatuated with her again....but i want a relationship with her, i dont want it to just be some booty call again......how should i approach the situation? should i just straight up ask her out on a date and see where things go from there? or should i tell her my feelings about her?

If you've remained friends, then she couldn't have been too upset... or at the very least, she's dealt with it and moved on.

Since the two of you are friends, I suggest you just talk to her about it. *You're going to have to be pretty specific since if you just ask her out, then she may mistake that for a "friend thing". *And there's a good chance that if she finds out in the middle of it that she's on a date, she'll be very uncomfortable. *

Just tell her how you feel and see what she thinks. *
