Did I come on too strong?

Ok, i need to give a small background story first, i met this hot russian girl named Daria at my college. I made some small talk with her and got her AIM name. We then chatted online for a bit, and I was kinda digging this girl. I figured maybe u was flirting with her a bit, but nothing outside of normal. I then noticed something on her facebook (a profile server for college kids) profile that has just recently been changed. The line said under about me: ***NOT LOOKIN FOR A BOYFRIEND***, now it wasn't that phrase that bothered me, but that fact that it was put up a few days after she met me. So now I feel like a total loser because I'm thinking I was freakin obvious and I was too clueless to know it. Can anyone help me out and maybe tell me what I did wrong.

If she hasn't changed her attitude and behavior with you, I wouldn't even give it a second thought. There are lots of possibilities!

For one thing, she might just be trying to discourage guys from "hitting" on her uninvited.

She might also mean "not looking for a boyfriend but if the right guy shows up I won't tell him to get lost."

You can ignore it as long as your relationship doesn't seem affected... or you can ask her about it. If you opt to ask, don't interrogate her, just be curious and interested.
