My girlfriend is out of town for liltle less than 2 weeks, I wanted to send her something (flowers, candy somthing of the that nature) to show that I'm thinking of her. We haven't spoken since she left so she wouldn't be expecting it. Thing is I'm her first b\f and she was kind of raised with around alot of males (cousins and what not) so she's a tough chick with a soft side. She went to visit these cousins and I'm affraid to embarasse her with this surprise, I love her alot but I'm affraid she'll react differently because she's around these cousins. Also would find this to be corny?

Well, I'm pretty much a tomboy. I'm "one of the guys" so to speak. I get along with males much better and much easier than I do females. I like to do "guy" things.
But as Brandye said, lots of the tough chicks have a soft side. Lost inside of me somewhere is a hopeless romantic. And while I'm not really a flower person, and while I do like candy or chocolate, I would totally love something like a stuffed animal. They're squishy and fun and they give me something to cuddle with, and if I couldn't be around someone I was dating for however long, I would love to cuddle with one he gave me cause in a way, I would be cuddling with him. /mushy moment.

Whatever you send, make sure you include part of yourself! That is to say, personalize it... make it remind her of you and the relationship you share... don't go nuts to impress. Keep it simple so she knows your point is her, not to impress others.

I'd send her a dozen roses. How long have you been dating?
They don't have to be red roses. You can pick different colors. Different colors can symbolize different aspects of your relationship. I once got some roses from a boyfriend. He had different colors - white for purity, pink for friendship, yellow for something, red for love, etc..... I don't know what they all were, but he wrote what they all stood for and why that was special to him. Just an idea.
