How to know what she really likes?

I't hard for me to just talk about some things. And I don't think I'm the only one. People are shy, or think they might offend her/his partner by telling them what to do in bed. Or something.

My g/f has had some bad experiences in the past so she's kinda too careful around me. We had to spend some time apart a while ago so we had this little sex game. It's basically just a description of foreplay and sex. First she wrote in an e-mail about how she hugs me, kisses me etc. Then I continue. I write how I want her to bite my nipples and other things I like. Then it's her turn again, and so on. We are both telling each other what we'd like the other one do, and how we enjoy the things the other one does correctly.
