How to ask her out

Hi, first post on board

Well, a little background, a year and a half ago i moved to florida with my familyfrom england. and since then i have not met many girls. i have only ever had 1 GF and all the initial work to start off that relationship was done by our shared bestfriend. well that was about5 years ago (it only lasted 7 months) so im completely out of it.

Anyway, im at college now and i share an art class with a girl i really like. We seem to get along as we sit together most of the time (not always me trying to get that posistion ) It an open class so we talk alot about this and that.

Well were halfway through the semester now and id like to ask her out. thing is i dont want to be rejected and then have to sit there the rest of the semester and feel embarresed. whats the best way to

1. find out if shes single?

and 2 . ask her out?

any and all help would be graciously appreciated thank you!!!

Keep it casual to begin with... try asking her out for coffee. *A friend could do that. *That will give you some one on one time to talk to her and find out 1) if she's single and 2) if you have enough in common to WANT to really ask her out. *

And just an American opinion, you're a British guy (I assume you have the accent), that should be a BIG plus... LOL. *

well, anyway, iasked her out and she said yes!!! we have class tomorrow and were gonna organize it then!!! atm, i have the biggest smile on my face anyone will ever see!!
