Alright, Gotta ask this.. has there ever been a time you've been with someone but its like.. you go out in public and your like "wow.. your cute" but then once you guys are at home.. just relaxing.. you see them completely different they almost look ugly? or something and you go "what the hell.. " but when you go out you see them as super attractive? i dont get it.. has this happend with anyone? or... yes, if so.. what do you figure it was that caused it?

yeah, people try to look more presentable when out in public, but around the home they don't care as much. you see this more extremely with women, where they'll put on make up and look smashing when they go out, and then at home they'll look like a completely different person because they're not all made up. but guys do this too. i care about how i dress and look when i am going to go out, but if i'm just hanging around the house or if i'm in my dorm room, or sometimes even going to class, i just don't give a crap and wear the pj pants, a ratty tshirt and sport the just-woke-up hairdo.
or maybe is it the lighting? lighting changes the appearance of facial features because of the shadowing and all that. i remember there was a seinfeld episode where jerry was dating a chick that looked hot in most lighting, but there were certain situations where she'd look hideous.

i think i understand what you're talking about. i've had boyfriends who i knew were freaking ugly, but to me they were adorable. also, there are some people who i just cannot decide whether they are pretty or ugly, like ashley simpson. sometimes she looks pretty, but other times she looks super ugly.

mcs, I think what you're talking about is "beauty in the eye of the beholder" kind of thing. and i think what lady was trying to get at was that someone looking different in one setting than another, like a transformation rather than a varying opinion. two different subjects really.
