Intimidated by women

I am a 17 year old male. I really am lost when it comes to girls and dating. I have never had a serious relationship. The most anoying part is I am a smart good looking kid. Every girl that I ever like I end up becoming friends with, but don't know how to take it to the next level. I am just really intimidated when it comes to women, and would appreciate any advice.

My friend your preaching to the choir here. Whenever it comes to talking to a girl who is even remotely pretty, I buckle, i'm not myself and I cease to be in anyway attractive. It's all, as you most likely know its all, about confidence.

The only relationship I had was when I was 16 and that was because I actually was able to talk to a girl properly, mainly because I was in an environment with friends I knew and trusted and I just had bags of confidence. I seem to have lost it now tho.

Ok, so the moral of this rather sad story is, be yourself, talk to those girls (since your able to make friends thats a very good starting point), however daunting that may seem, and establish whether the girl is there to take it to another level with you.

Now, I realise what i'm saying probably seems pretty daunting, however the best thing you could do is take it in small steps, get more confident around them, and most importantly be yourself. As you grow in confidence you'll be able to work out it all out.

Also as a side note, don't even think of trying to check the punctuation and grammar of this post, its a task that would make you suffer.
