I am only 16 and have recently had my first proper relationship.

Recently my g/f broke it off after 3 months, won't bore you with details at the moment.

Anyway, she wanted to remain friends and the problem is that I really do like her and thought that we had a lot in common.

Thing is now she keeps sending me mixed signals and some of my friends say keep trying to win her back others say its a lost cause.

I really need some advice.

She broke up with me because I upset her and she felt her feeling have changed towards me.

That said she could be stringing me along.

This does not sound like a sex issue. Try relationships. In the meantime, forget it and move on. Game-playing is not necessary to anyone's emotional health.

I agree. Just ask her pointblank, "Are you interested in a relationship?" She can say "yes", "no" or "maybe". Anything other than "yes" and I'd move on...

So basically she was trying to lead me on.

I have made a clean break from her, my emotional health is much better for it.
