Okay there are soooo many times my bf says im SOOO BEAUTIFUL. even when we arn't .I guess he just thinks im really pretty to hem.. idk if his past gf's just wont as attractive as me or what.. no im NOT trying to sound concited.. so sorry before hand if i do sound that way.When he tells me im beautiful i never know what to say. i normally just smile and kiss hem or once in awhile say thanks. GOOSH its like i feel i should say more? what do guys like 2 hear normally when a guy has told her she is beautiful..what do guys want 2 hear back??lol Im just curious.. i need some feedback!=).So all will help! Most people have a hard time accepting a compliment. *It sounds like you are doing okay. *"Thank you" is good, and so is a smile/kiss. *You could also try, "You're sweet." or "So are you." w/smile. *I know guys don't normally think of themselves as "beautiful" but I'm betting he won't mind hearing it from you.

Well, then my bf says it, I know he means it, I just smile at him and cuddle up to him if I can, if it's then we're driving I'll just squeeze his hand. And I know he means it, cause usually he says it just out of nowehre, and he justs holds me close if he can and has this smile on his face.
ANd oberon...I guess I gotta either stick with my guy...or make sure he wasn't born as a woman (jk) cause he says it mostly if he's not horny.

LOL LittleFury. I SAID it was a cynical comment. And I'm not just applying it to the "beautiful" thing. I know I shouldn't suggest that all men suffer from this, but I have found- at least in my experience- a large number who do. More guys say things they don't really mean just before they get off- "I love you" pops out a lot at this time- and I'd be willing to bet a number of marriage proposals...lol.

Sometimes guys will use compliments like that as weapon too. I mean "Ohhh babe, you're so beautiful, please come have sex with me even we just met 2 hours ago" BUt also, sometimes them might say things that they do mean but were afraid to say and it just slips out. It almost happened to my bf and I. Just before we told each other that we fell for each other, we both were really watching ourselves cause it almost slipped for both of us. So there are more then just one side to it.
BUt then they say it, and they mean it with no hidden agenda and not afraid to say it, it is very special.

LittleFury, the first time I thought of my little rule (Never believe...before..), I was with a guy who was, er, mmm, okay, I'll be kind and say, confused. *It was sort of a on again/off again thing. *We were in the middle of sex and he suddenly says, "Oooh, I love you." *I almost laughed out loud. *I thought, "No, you love having sex with me- and there IS a difference." *lol
