How did you meet your partner?

My first encounter with my partner wasnt exactly conventional. A friend of mine was having a little party at his house with a few select people(about 15 people). Eventually everyone was drunk, including myself. Now normally I'm not one to talk to people I don't know, but when Im a little tipsy Im ultra social. I started talking to the girl who would later end up being my current girlfriend, and somehow we ended up making out and spending the rest of the night just hanging out together. This was my first experience of a drunk hookup, and I didnt know what would become of it, seeing as I had never talked to that girl before that night, but the next morning when I woke up, with her in my arms, I knew I had to persue it. I kept in contact with her constantly, and now we're very close, closer than anyone I've ever been to.

We both agree that it was a very unconventional hook up for both of us, but we're both very happy that it happened. How did you meet your partner?

i started working again this past summer (like i had for previous summers since 2000) in the same place i always had been. *when i called in to ask when they wanted me to start, they asked if i wanted to work tuesday through saturdays cause they needed someone for saturdays. *so i agreed.
and he's one of the officers on saturdays and that's how i met him.
so, we've known each other since early/mid june.

Hmm.. I mettt Ty... first on the net.. because my friend Clayton was his friend who i used to hang out with all the time, and he wanted my ex bf at the time's email.. so i asked for tylers cause all the girls i knew who hung out with em and my friends from another town... knew this kid and said he was great, i started to talk to him, didnt think anything of it.. i met him... about 4 months after we talked on the net.. by accident LOL becuase him and clayton came to this party where everyone was.. and i seen him :P and well it was love at first sight LOL we both felt the same.. and been in love ever since.. LOL we both used to dream about eachother or.. Know about eachother "WEIRD EH?"

I met Tyler.. through friends. Clayton*the friend*.. is friends with both of us.. and my small town and another small town the kids kinda get together and hang out with eachother. and Anyhoo clayton brought tyler to a party, and i couldn't make it oddly.. every time he did that. And all the girls who i go to school with said he was awesome, and wouldnt stop talking about him. At the time i was dating Josh, Clayton wanted his email for other reasons.. and i said ok give me a friends.. he said OK ill give you Tylers! and i said great cause i heard so much about him. So i started to talk to him in about march, never thought much about him really.. but then in June i had been argueing with myself.. about josh how i felt, i shouldnt be with him.. then on june 5th.. there was a party, we were all camping out. and clayton brought tyler, i seen him and i knew... and we both felt the same.. love at first sight.. and i told him how i felt a day later... on the computer.. then broke up with josh.. then was dating him the next day!!! things happen for a reason but yes.. i love tyler ehhehe

met online (and not through some meet up website for desperate people, it was pure chance wen i bored and looked for any1 to talk to on the net throught icq)....talked for a very long while and met after like a year and a half. *after first meeting her i couldnt stop thinking bout her, and kept on goin back for more *

Well it was a bit different for myself and my girlfriend. Both of us had been attending the same community college (we were both in sepereate high school at the time), and my g/f and her best friend would park in front of me almost 3 days a week during the fall. Well turns out that her best friend liked my car (83 Camaro) and one day in November they left a note on my car asking me what my name was. I left a reply on their car- and the next week I got an invitation to have lunch w/them. I still remember the first time I saw her-beautiful curly brown hair, gorgeous brown eyes and a smile that still makes me feel weak in the knees. About a week later, Brittani's best friend decided I wasn't for her-and Brittani and I have been together ever since. It's a little hard for the two of us w/me 2 hours away now at the U of MN, but we get to talk all the time and I'm going home on Friday to see her again....Sorry to get all sappy. That's how we met

Met my man at a huge national car event summer 2002 . it was miles and miles away from where i lived, thought he was fit and turned out he didnt live that far from me back home, didnt persue as didnt think he would be interested in a girl of my age.

Stayed friends, and saw him every now and then in the holidays. Early summer 2003 saw him by accident, and ended up seeing him everyday that week. After a lot of running back and forth from a mutual friend we got together apparently everyone else saw we fancied each other, but neither of us thought the other was interested!!

went to the same national car event in summer 2003, as a couple of one month havent really looked back!

I met my gf at a friends house. I knew her from school and she would give me a little smile here and there but I didn't know her very well. Then my friend invited us over...a few of us and it took off from there

I'm a nurse and his Mom was a patient in the ICU I work in; she had an aneurysm repaired. *He would come in to visit her and since she was critically ill, I would be in the room the whole time he was there. When she started to get a little better, I would still find reasons to be in there. Eventually, she got better, went home, and now she teases me about the lengths she went to to find a "good woman" for her son! It's the first and only time I've ever dated a patient or patient's family member but it must have been the right thing to do-we're still together 3 years later!
