Ok.. normally I'm not the time to do this kind of thing, approaching complete strangers. I think I've a few times before that theres no one around where I live, and practically no place within 50 miles to meet anybody, so I'm willing to step out a little.
Last Friday I was up at the school where my mom teaches helping with some stuff. I was talking with one of the younger teachers and the conversation eventually moved to talking about relatives and etc. Turns out that she has a sister who's my age, doing community college and living at home. Without going into all the details, I heard enough to get my interest up, so I'm planning on calling her in the next day or so.
Anybody have suggestions for just how to get things started conversation-wise? I'm already planning on just asking her to meet for lunch or something to get to know each other, not really a date. Its just kinda awkward.. "you've never met me before, but..."
