What he thinks of me

I've been dating my boyfriend for 8 months and everything is pretty good the only thing is that he won't tell me his opinions on some of the things I do because he doesn't want me to get upset. For instance:

When we first started dating I had really long hair. On a whim, I cut it all off. He won't tell me which he likes better because he wants me to wear my hair the way I like it.

I'm a pretty spontanious person and on a whim I've gotten both my tongue and the hood of my clit pierced. Both before and now after he won't tell me what he likes better, with or without the jewelery in.

He won't tell me which position he likes better. Though he will tell me that he likes a new position we've tried he won't give me a position that is his favorite. He says as long as he's having sex with me, he likes it.

It really has started to bug me because although I'll always consider what *I* want in these situations I do want to be as attractive to him as I can. If I like my hair both long and short (and I do) why cant I wear it the way HE prefers. And if at some point I am just going all out and want to please him like never before, I want it to include his favorite position.

No matter how much I beg, he won't share these things with me. Have any of you delt with this? Should I just get over it?

id say dont worry about it.
maybe he also doesn't have a preference about your hair or piercings. he could care less either way.
im like that about a lot of things.
esp. when my b/f is like what do you want to do tonight or what do you want to eat. im happy w/ whatever so i don't really care.
im sure if he really wants something he'll tell you.

just be glad that he's happy when you are happy and doesn't try to control you.
like if i ask my b/f does this look fine? (meaning my hair or clothes) his reply is you always look beautiful? lol but he says that even when i wake up in the morning lol.

IMO those are all pretty minor issues, so even if he doesn't love what you've done he probably thinks it isn't worth getting into. Or like demonbuttercup said, maybe he just doesn't really care.

well, in the first issue (the hair thing) i think, that him as most (but not every one) of the guys, like the hair of his female partner long, but since you already cut it, he doesn't want you to feel that he doesn't like you, since you can not do anything about it (unless you wear a wig or something until it grows back again), so why make a big deal about it?
Same thing with the piercings, since you already have them, what's the point of asking (although i don't see what that has to do with being spontanious ) , if you have them, that's because you like them, and he can not do a thing about it.
And about the position, well, that's no big deal, maybe he just like them all .
I think your guy just want you to be you, and loves you for who you are.
