I'm new here, so i don't know if anyone has ever asked this: is it safe for a guy to cum inside me when i start using pills? also, is it true that there's a less chance for you to get pregnant when you pee right after sex? thanks in advance. :)

cumming inside when using a pill

You have to find out how long you have to take the pill before it becomes effective as your birth control method. The doctor should have told you, if not read the insert or read it on-line (the manufacturers web-site). If unsure, take it for a full month until you use it as the only form of contraception (use a backup method).
No, urinating after intercourse only helps decrease your chances of a urinary tract infection by flushing out any bacteria which may have entered the urethra. It's a good practice for all females who are sexually active to help prevent UTI's to void (pee) after intercourse .
The BCP will not reduce the risk or prevent sexually transmitted diseases, you should be using a condom. Also, BCP's have a rate of failure. Meaning when taken properly there is a 1-3% chance you will become preganant.
The pill is made so that you don't "have" to wear a condom (consider STDs tho) or have the guy pull out.
Like Sera said, it depends how your pills are as to how soon you are protected.
Most packs say after 7 days if Sunday starter....if DAY 1 starter then protected that first day.
My DR told me to go through one complete pack/cycle. I had some breakthru bleeding my first pack, so I was paranoid and used a backup method like for
2-3 packs, lol.
First you should learn about how the pill actually works, my NP at the school clinic explained ALL this to me before I started taking it... and I read some more about it online.
BCP have that 1% effectiveness if taken CORRECTLY...that means always taking them the same time everyday...not missing doses, watching what other things you take...like antibiotics...that can lessen the BCP.
Birth Control Failure Rates
Why are you bothering to ask? You ALWAYS use condoms and bc pills! ALWAYS. Face the facts - if you are going to play like an adult, you're going to have to be adult. There is no 'consider STDs though' - ALWAYS wear protection. If he doesn't want to - tough; drop him and find someone who cares enough to be safe.
I had a question somewhat similar to this. I'm on the pill too, but are you still protected during the week that you don't take the pill? Our condom broke so I'm a bit worried.
The week you don't take the pill? Meaning the week of placebo pills? If you have taken the pack and not skipped any pills, yes you are protected.
If you skipped a week of the first three rows, then you are not protected.
The last week of pills are placebo's and are intended for your body to "withdrawal"; thus, your menstrual cycle begins.
That's been asked before and it seems like people, girls and boys, don't really understand how the pill works... in that you aren't protected THAT day because you took a pill... its how taking the pill on a daily basis keep you from ovulating as well as a couple of other things.
Simple Explanation
Birth control pills are exactly what the name says. That is, they greatly reduce the chance of your becoming pregnant. Most women on the pill AND in a stable, monogamous relationship use no other form of birth control. See my sticky on Womens Health about Taking only as Directed. If you follow the guidance your doctor gave you and avoid anything interactive drug or supplements, you have a very low chance of pregnancy. You still need condoms for disease.
the combined pill it the most effective, at 99.5% effective. trust me, it's perfectly safe. my boyfriend does it every time we have sex and i am not pregnant, but FOR GOD'S SAKE TAKE IT EVERY DAY AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!! i can't stress that enough to people. but not, it's perfectly safe if you take it properly.
yeah i know alot of women who think cumming inside the vagina increases the bc's chance of failure.
Ideally if the bc fails and the women ovulates within a 3 day period of intercourse then the precum is all it takes to have enough sperm so that one finds a home right? so logically thinking where you cum has no change in the rate of failure then?
That is my uneducated guess, please correct me if im wrong.
Yeah, wouldn't actually recommend that.
I am living proof that oral contraceptives don't always work.
Though the chances of both a condom breaking and birth contol not working are EXTREMELY slim to none, so fountainhead, you should be safe, as long as you havent missed a day on those suckers.
But my friend got pregnant from not using a condom when she was on the combined pill. {Which is what I'm on.}
So definately invest in some little rubber sperm-catchers. I've heard they work wonders.
