Yeah its possible to get too turned on. Maybe try a bit less foreplay, and go slow and stop if you feel yourself getting too close.
Also, try masturbating yourself to orgasm beforehand. That will make it take longer the second time round when you are with the girl.
As a young woman, I frequently brought the guy off by hand once or twice during foreplay. Slowed him down and made it mroe likely that he would last a bit. Great thing about young men is their recovery time is quite short. Talk to her about it.

It might just be that (sorry for being so blunt) that you're overly excited. Try reducing the foreplay a bit.

You might want to try some of those condoms with the lube in them that make you last longer. If you are afraid of buying these from embarrassment, get a Durex sample/variety pack at Wal-Mart. They come with a couple of these condoms so you can try them out. Also, simply wearing a condom will help you last longer as condoms tend to dull the sensations a bit.
