K I have a couple questions... When I go to the store with my bf I don't see different sized ones.. and then my second one is... I talk to people that had the funnest condoms (chocolate flavored, barebacks, and fun junk like that) where the hell can I find those???
Oh yeah a third.. I'm still kinda sorta new to sex but not really. (been having sex almost every weekend for 3 or 4 months) whenever we use textured condoms they hurt like hell!! (burning mostly) WHY? and will I ever be able to use them??
Ribbed ones make me burn too sometimes. Like they are too rough or something. More lube should help. I always get sore or burning feeling after using them. I generally just don't use them. don't know if I'm just too sensitive or what.
Ok..lets take 'em one at a time:
1) Different size condoms: If you go to any drug store you'll see a variety of brands, but the vast majoirty of them are a "standard" size....except ONE: MAGNUM. the Magnum condom is for a guy who's longer and thicker (7"+ and 6"+ in circumfrence. So, if you're BF is hung, you can buy Magnum condomes at any store. Best thing he can do is buy one and try it when masturbating. DOn't use a magnum unless it fits SNUGLY...you don't want it coming off during sex. If you're lookign for something that fits more snugly then standard condomes, go to google and type in: CONDOMAINIA. YOu can by ANY kind of condome there!
2) Novelty Condomes: Again, online stores are the best source for such condoms UNLESS you have an adult bookstore in your town. Most adult bookstores carry a varity of condoms = including the flavored, novelty, etc.
3) Textured condoms: I'd venture to bet that the burning is either:
- Irritation from the ribs on your vagina
- irritation from the lubrication
- irritation from the spermicide (if you use one with spericide)
- lack of lubrication (the lube thats there is not enough and teh condome dry's up a bit.
So, i would try buying a water-based lube (astroglide, ky, wet, etc) and see if that helps.
You should also try different condomes w/out the ribbing too!
One final note, you may be allergice to latex..so after you try a few different brands, and it still causes irritation, you may have to try a non-latex condom!
